We spent two days in LA for Progressive photographing "Babyman." I've been asked to photograph babies before. And I've photographed hundreds of men. This was my first time photographing a Baby Man.
Working alongside a film crew we mixed hand held strobes with the film lighting and natural light. We worked our shots into the production figuring out the workflow of the film crew and then processing files though a laptop while the crew was filming.
We photographed on an airplane set... which is basically a fuselage in a warehouse in Burbank. If you close your eyes and imaging what a fuselage in a warehouse in Burbank looks like, it is exactly as you would imagine. The second day we were in Malibu on the beach. Tom Fonss was so fun to work with. We laughed a lot.
